THIS WAS VIOLENT MAGIC ORCHESTRA — LIVE IN CONCERT
Strobe lights. Smoke. Noise. Black metal and techno fused into something that was less a concert and more a physical assault on reality.

They didn’t play.
They detonated the room.

VMO arrived from their fictional planet HELVETECH (2099) with five strobe rigs, a smoke machine, and the kind of power consumption that makes electricians nervous. Techno smashed into industrial, gabber collided with black metal — chaos and precision at the same time.

No stage. No distance.
The room became part of the performance.

We saw people stare, scream, dance, freeze, laugh nervously, and then surrender to the sheer overload. The energy didn’t come from “audience vs band”. It circulated — violent, bright, collective.

5000W of light and sound pushing everything to the edge.
VMO didn’t ask permission. They took the space and rewrote its rules for one night only.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, sweated, let go, and allowed chaos to take over.

TALK ABOUT GEORGIA – A Night of Solidarity at DAS LOT

On November 22, we host an evening in solidarity with the Georgian people. Having performed over 200 shows in 37 countries, including sets in Kyiv amidst air raids and blackouts, their sound embodies resilience and devotion.

What a night! On March 31st, Das LOT turned into a thunderous soundscape with the incomparable Ryosuke Kiyasu — the internationally acclaimed snare drum soloist from Tokyo.

In 2023 they released their debut album “Bound By Naked Skies”. After some rearrangements the last Lab of 2025 will take place on the 25th of November!

Ultrasonic Journeys hosted by @willops Will Lopes and sound engineer Philipp Hovorka @__bergblume__ , explores body and space resonances through deep bass frequencies, aiming to activate proprioceptive awareness and the perception of the body as a vibrating field.

The sound installation will be configured in a 360° or 4.2 surround system, creating an immersive acoustic environment where sound, body, and architecture merge as one pulsating organism.

The session begins with guided meditation and deep relaxation, leading participants into subtle inner states from which organic, spontaneous movements arise. Gradually, the soundscape evolves from sensitive sonic landscapes and soft acoustic atmospheres into rhythmic layers, guiding the experience toward a state of free dance inspired by club culture.

Come and enjoy this very special transdisciplinary experience and conclude with us the Lab Season of 2025!

Transmedia artist and composer Ernst Lima crafts immersive worlds at the threshold between body, technology, and emotion. Their performances unfold as liminal sonic architectures — places where memory and anticipation intertwine, and sound becomes a vessel for transformation. Using the electric guitar as an extension of the body, Lima weaves processed textures, granular synthesis, and voice into genre-fluid soundscapes that hover between experimental electronics, cinematic ambience, and electroacoustic ritual. Intimate yet vast, visceral yet spectral — a haunting exploration of presence and absence.

JULIA WITAS
Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist Julia Witas merges music, film, and performance into a singular expression of emotional intensity. Her works move between distortion and fragility, grief and transcendence — cinematic compositions that evoke both devastation and renewal. Through voice, texture, and movement, she constructs hypnotic sonic narratives that linger like dreams just before waking.

THE VIDADÖD PERFORMANCE
Born from a process of personal rebirth, The Vidadöd Performance bridges ritual, body art, and dance. What began as acts of endurance — blades, hooks, and paint on skin — has evolved into a visceral choreography of movement, blood, and grace. Each performance is a meditation on transformation: death and renewal, surrender and strength, pain and beauty intertwined.
