#aLOTtotalkabout
#alottotalkabout, is an in-depth sidekick that we would like to add to each of our four core formats (ARTWALK, TERRITORIES, MOSAIQUE, OPENLOT). It manifests itself in the form of discussions, art mediation workshops, screenings and sometimes even takes form as a live-podcast event. In an open discussion round, (complex) topics on which there are many questions or opinions can be discussed in a short time and with flat hierarchies. The diverse discussions are recorded and then broadcast as a podcast.

The talk will be recorded with a centrally positioned 360-degree microphone and then broadcast on all public podcast providers under the title #aLOttotalkabout. Recording and broadcasting enables participation - even afterwards and over long distances. The podcast episodes form a continuous series and are permanently available free of charge.
LOTinContext

With LOTinContext, we plan to supplement and deepen the formats we have developed so far with additional perspectives and focus on art mediation and outreach. By fostering open, accessible discussions, we encourage our visitors and community to dive deeper into our research, ask questions, and resonate with the shared discourse. With these events, we aim to bridge the gap between culture and science, collaborating with museums, universities, and research institutions to strengthen cross-disciplinary engagement and make our content accessible far beyond our events.

We are excited to launch our first #aLOTtotalkabout podcast as part of the Hybrid Butoh Vienna Art Festival! Join us as we explore Butoh, the evocative “dance of darkness”, in a unique conversation. We invite you to engage with the meaning, purpose and potential of Butoh in addressing today's dark times. This podcast is perfect for anyone who is curious about butoh, even if they have never heard of it - whether they are new to the art form, part of the butoh community, or come from other disciplines and are interested in a blended experience.
