Your old laptop, tablet, or phone could become part of a living archive network.
In this hands-on Bring-Your-Own-Device workshop, compost.cc transforms discarded devices into infrastructure for cultural preservation. Together we’ll restore old hardware and turn it into functioning archive nodes connected to the compost.cc network.
The first archive preserves material from Chile’s Project Cybersyn (1971–1973) — a radical socialist cybernetics experiment destroyed after the military coup in 1973.
