MOSAIQUE 06: Fear of Beginning

The preceding quote comes from an older woman who observed us with curiosity at the beginning of our construction work. Based on this idea, we want to discuss process-oriented work and Art as a constant construction site. MOSAÏQUE is an open-call format which showcases ideas and processes from various disciplines and facilitates the exchange of works in progress. MOSAÏQUE places the imperfect and unfinished at the center, celebrating the raw moment of creation over the  polished works. Artists do not merely wish to share finished works but also works in progress. We aim to answer this desire with MOSAÏQUE which presents finished pieces but also engages in discussions about stages of research, creative processes, and working methods, giving significance to this process of exchange.
