UÝRA – The Rising Forest
For the first time, Echolot invites the LOTLab audience to a film screening! With UÝRA – The Rising Forest this Lab dives into the story of Uýra, a trans indigenous artist, who travels through the Amazon on a journey of self-discovery using
performance art to teach indigenous youth that they are the guardians of ancestral messages of the Amazon forest.We will watch the film in a cozy atmosphere and speak about our impressions afterwards. It is also an introduction for the upcoming LOTLab Drag Rest on the 21st of october. Come and join!
