About the event

In his book „Gravity“ dancer Steve Paxton traced a lifetime in the company of gravity. It describes his personal relationship to the physical force that shapes human life on planet earth.

In this LOTLab we will meander around the concept of gravity while moving and writing. Bodies not just contain mass, they also hold narratives, they are a vessel of personal stories. What is your unique relationship to gravity? What stories does gravity tell through your body?

We will move, write and read and all of that with a somatic, caring approach.

Every curious bodymind is welcome.

Language of the lab is going to be  german and english.

Natalie Campbell is an interdisciplinary artist in the fields of literature and movement. She works as an author, performer and dance instructor, in collective as well as solo projects, e.g. at Tanz*Hotel Wien, Dschungel Wien, Shake the Break/impulstanz
