About the event
Drawing inspiration from the Buddhist classic The Way of the Bodhisattva, this intensive Butoh workshop explores the foundations of the form as a path to embodying Buddhist philosophy through movement, gesture, and collaborative choreography.
Over three days, participants follow a focused process dedicated to creating a full-length group composition. The programme culminates in a professionally staged dance-theatre production in Vienna, supported by a full technical team.
Open to movers of all levels—including complete beginners—this workshop offers a rare opportunity to experience Butoh as both an artistic discipline and a spiritual practice.
